Approximately 45 minutes theoretical work to explain differences in machine polishers, pads and compounds. We will also talk about the different types of paint defects and how to tackle them.
Then we will head to the booth to begin compounding and polishing a prepared vehicle. I will explain about the importance of lighting and cover how to identify what polish and pad combo is required to gain results. We will then focus the majority of our time on machine control of various DA machines and how to work safely and efficiently. Finally we will cover paint protection.
The aim of the course is that upon completion the trainee feels they understand how to work in a safe, comfortable and efficient manner with a view to correcting and enhancing paint.
